- For enabling or disabling the Automatic Update option:

- Select the updates to download and click Get Updates.
- To see the new improvements in QB, go to Updates column and click the Maintenance Releases link.
- A page is displayed that lists the improvements in the patch.
- Your QB version would decide whether to install the patch now or the next time you start the software.
- When this happens, click Install Now or Yes to install the improvement patch. Restart your computer after installation.
- However, you cannot install Maintenance releases automatically. For installing maintenance release, close and reopen QB and then click Install Now.
Release Download Updates

- Open the shared company file and go to the help menu to click Update QuickBooks.
- Click the options tab and Set the share Download option to yes.
- Click the Save button.
